Quality printing, thorough approach, understandable GIS concepts, embedded tips etc. This review covers the spiral bound 7th edition - I highly suggest the flat-laying spiral bound edition for working the exercises. This book has been very informative so far and the hands on ArcGIS tutorials really help me understand the content.
I like the looseleaf version because I can put one chapter at a time in a smaller binder and not carry a huge textbook around campus. One person found this helpful. The content of the book is good but the binding is smashed and such low quality that it makes it hard to turn the pages to actually use the book.
For the price I would expect the quality of the spiral bound book to be higher. Buy the digital version instead and skip on the physical copy. Needed the textbook for a class.
